Vivo X60 Pro Set For Launch Dec 29, Key Specifications

Vivo X60 Pro is scheduled for launch on Tuesday, December 29. The smartphone is said to come with upgraded specifications and features over the predecessor X50 Pro.

The anticipated device has now made an early appearance on China’s TENAA certification website, revealing key specifications.

According to the listing, Vivo X60 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. The phone has a punch-hole cut-out at the top centre. The back houses a rectangular camera module that houses four camera sensors. The phone looks identical to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 series.

For performance, Vivo X60 Pro runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1080 processor coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It packs a 4,200mAh battery, reveals the listing.

In the photography department, the quad-camera setup on the back features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel sensor, and two 13-megapixel sensors. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Older rumours claim the phone will have 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. It will most likely feature the gimbal camera we saw in the X50 series.

On the software front, Vivo X60 Pro is said to come with the newly launched OriginOS (based on Android 11) out-of-the-box.

That said, Vivo’s X60-series is said to come with a vanilla X60 model and X60 Pro. There are also rumours of the company introducing an X60s version of the phone.

It is worth noting that Vivo has already announced a partnership with optics company Zeiss for its next smartphone series. According to a listing on the company page, Vivo X60 phones will be available in black, white, and blue colours with a gradient finish.
