VP Shettima condoles APC chairman Ganduje over mother-in-law

Vice President, Kashim Shettima, on Tuesday, paid a condolence visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, following the death of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama.

Shettima visited Ganduje at his residence on Miango Road in Kano, where he was welcomed by several prominent figures, including the Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Malam Muhammad Garba, and a Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, Faizu Alfindiki.

During his visit, the Vice President offered prayers for the deceased, expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. 

"We pray for the repose of Hajiya Asiya's soul and strength for the family during this difficult time," Shettima said. 

He then extended his condolences to Ganduje’s wife, Professor Hafsatu Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in the family wing of the residence.

Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama, the mother of Professor Hafsatu Ganduje, passed away early Monday and was buried the same day in Kano.
