The West African Examination Council(WAEC) 2020 Results which was previously slated to be released in the last week of October and was further postponed to 3rd November 2020, has been finally released on Monday, November 2, 2020, at exactly 10:30 am.

Parick E. Areghan, Head of National Office WAEC Nigeria, in a press briefing on Monday morning, confirmed that a total of 1,549,740 candidates registered for the examination, while 1,538,445 candidates eventually sat for the examination, on the other 1,338,348 candidates representing 86.99%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five (5) subjects (i.e with or without English Language and or Mathematics;
He stressed, saying that "one million three hundred and thirty-eight thousand three hundred and forty-eight (1,338,3488) candidates representing 86.99% obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects,i.e with or without English and Mathematics"
"One Million Three Thousand Six Hundred and Sixty-Eight (1,003,668) candidates representing 65.24%, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects including English and Mathematics"
Head of National Office, Patrick E.Areghan corroborated this in a press briefing, disclosing the facts and figures surrounding the just concluded WASSCE 2020.
