Onome Ebi, the captain of the Super Falcons, has expressed that her side is determined to extend their winning streak against New Zealand.
Both sides are billed to trade tackles today at the Mardan Sports Complex, Antalya, Turkey to round off international duties.
While the Falcons won their first friendly match against Haiti, New Zealand played a 1-1 draw with Iceland.
The 2-1 victory against Haiti last Friday was Falcons second win which came on the back of a barren run of seven games without a win that ended against Costa Rica.
Speaking to NFF TV ahead of the tuneup game, Ebi stated that it is important for the team to keep the winning momentum going.
“We have to maintain the form that we have attained over the past two matches,” she said.
“It is important for us to keep up the momentum, to keep winning and know that we can always overwhelm our opponents.
"The spirit is back and we are determined to sustain it.”
The time for today's encounter is 2 PM Nigerian time.
