We didn't suspend Ganduje — Kano APC

The ward executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State have refuted claims of the suspension of APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.

During a briefing with journalists at the APC State Secretariat in Kano on Monday, the ward executives dismissed the reported suspension, asserting that those who purportedly announced it were not party members.

Ahmad Ganduje, the ward chairman, affirmed their unwavering support for the APC national chairman, expressing confidence in his leadership style.

He further stated that they had unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Ganduje and urged all party members in the ward and across the state to remain calm and law-abiding.

In addition, Inusa Dawanau, the APC chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, declared that legal action would be taken against the "impersonators" who falsely announced Ganduje’s suspension.

Haladu Gwanjo, who claimed to be the legal adviser of APC in Ganduje’s ward, had earlier announced the purported suspension of the party’s national chairman.

Gwanjo, who cited alleged corruption and other vices as reasons for the suspension, said that the decision was taken by nine executive members of the party in Ganduje ward.
