Nigerian troops deployed across the country have killed 149 terrorists while rescuing 42 kidnap victims, says the Defence Headquarters.
The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Benard Oyeuko disclosed on Thursday at the biweekly update on the armed forces of Nigeria.
He further stated that Nigerian troops have also received 466 repentant Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists with their families.
He added that 120 adult males, 137 adult females and 209 children were received.
Explaining further, he said the Nigerian troops also recorded success in arresting 111 terrorists and kidnappers including recovering arms and ammunitions.
Oyeuko added that all criminals arrested have been handed over to the appropriate authorities with the recovered items.
