What It Means When You Dream Of An Athlete

What It Means When You Dream Of An Athlete

An athlete is a person who practices athletics and usually has a well-built body. Athletics are human competitive games and sports which require physical energy.

To see an athlete in one's dream can indicate one's desire for competition. They are the ultimate competitors and will stop at nothing to win whatever they compete in. Dreaming of an athlete can also indicate a desire for a competition where one sees an athlete as all about the strength, dedication, or drive which makes one succeed in life.

To dream of a professional athlete represents an aspect of yourself that is an expert at winning or being competitive. One or someone else in one's life is experienced at being the best or being the most attractive, feeling no jealousy at all when it comes to winning.

Negatively, one may be feeling that one isn't measuring enough or being as competitive as it should be. The person may feel ugly, weak, or less of a winner than someone else. It may also reflect someone's obsession with winning that is going too far.

For instance, a man dreamed of seeing a professional athlete opening a door for him. In waking life his nagging doubts about the name of the company he was building inspired him to come up with a brand new name that was much more attractive.

Alternatively, this dream may indicate that you need to be more competitive and have a stronger power in life.

To dream that one is an athlete on a sports field is an indication that one has limits. There is something in one's life which one has managed to achieve which was considered impossible. It is important that one take precautions to avoid overextending yourself.
