Many world leaders and high figures have been in the country for days in preparation of one of the world's biggest gathering.

After Queen Elizabeth II died last year, King Charles took the throne.

Procession and Arrival at Westminster Abbey

The coronation will begin with a procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.

The King will be accompanied by members of the Royal Family, as well as other dignitaries and officials.

The procession will be a spectacle of royal regalia and ceremonial dress, with the King wearing a specially made coronation robe and crown.

The Coronation Service

Once the King arrives at Westminster Abbey, the Coronation Service will begin.

During the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury will anoint the King with oil and present him with the Crown Jewels, including the crown, sceptre, and orb.

The King will also take an oath to uphold the laws and customs of the country.

The Crowning Moment

The most iconic moment of the coronation is the crowning.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will place the crown on the King's head, and the assembled congregation will shout, "God save the King!"
