Meta's free messaging and video calling app, WhatsApp is rolling out the "Animation For Heart Emojis" for certain iOS beta testers on the latest 2.22.72 beta update on Monday after announcing the global voice note player available for some iOS beta testers.
The new update is compatible with the WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS 22.2.72 and WhatsApp Business beta for iOS 22.2.72. Since this feature has been rolled out to some beta testers, it may not be available for everyone, according to WABetaInfo.
The feature was first rumored during the Christmas holidays that a new animation for heart emojis was under development on WhatsApp beta for iOS.
All heart emojis will be animated in the new feature not only the red heart. In order to see the animation, the feature must also be enabled for the recipient of the message. WhatsApp is also making plans to release the feature to WhatsApp for Android.
