The wind reportedly blew off the roofs of their houses.
The wind also affected the Ehi-na-Uguru Autonomous Community Primary School, which had its roof and part of the classrooms destroyed.
It was learned that the students and teachers were forced to go back home.
It was also gathered that the community may be thrown into darkness as the electricity poles have been damaged.
Also destroyed during the downpour that lasted for hours were the churches in the community.
The victims, therefore, appealed to the government to assist them.
