Why I Agreed To Sleep With My Abductor — 12-Year-Old Girl

A 12-year-old girl told a court in Rivers State that she enjoyed sex and that was why she agreed to sleep with her abductor.

The Daily Post reports that the magistrate court in Port Harcourt remanded a middle-aged man, Alfred Chikere in prison for allegedly eloping with the adolescent.

Chikere was charged with two counts of abduction and defilement and will be prosecuted under section 361 of the Criminal Code of Rivers State laws.

According to the charge sheet, 38-year-old Chikere kept the girl in his house for a month before her parents began the search for her whereabouts, leading to his eventual arrest.

The Prosecutor ASP Omorujia further informed the court that the 12-year-old girl was abducted by the accused as a virgin and deflowered by him in the course of her one-month stay in his abode.

It came as a shock to Magistrate C.J. Digwe when the 12-year-old female disclosed that she consented to have sex with her abductor because she "likes" it.

The case was adjourned to April 20, 2021, for hearing.
