Why I Thought I Would Die Before Clocking 30 — Nancy Isime

Popular show host and actress Nancy Isime has disclosed that she was suicidal as a teenager and never thought she would live to be 30 years old.

Isime celebrated her 30th birthday during the weekend and in one of her Instagram posts, shared that she always thought she would take her life before she reached that age.

According to her, even though she has looked forward to being 30, she feared she wouldn't live to be that age and that was why celebrating the achievement is such a big deal to her.

"... I’ll be honest with you, I’ve looked forward to my 30th all my life but didn’t even imagine I’ll be in a space this amazing!", she wrote.

"As a child/teenager who suffered depression and was suicidal, I really didn’t think I’ll make it to 30. I always thought I’d take my life before then so this is such a big deal to me!

"To be here, in good health, sound mind, surrounded by the most amazing people online and offline, experiencing love in its truest form?

"And yes I feel all my emotions, I cry when I’m happy, sad, overwhelmed, in love e.t.c. It’s the only way to live...in every single moment.
