Collage of Olamide and Shatta Wale
Nigerian rapper Olamide Adedeji has revealed why he chose not to make any comment on Ghanian singer Shatta Wale's outburst.
Shatta Wale had criticized Nigerian artists in a tweet on Monday, saying that they don't promote their Ghanaian counterparts and were not appreciative of the support shown them by Ghanaians.
Following his statement, Nigerians took to social media to drag him, including Yung6ix who said that Shatta Wale's attempt at pitching Ghanaians against Nigerians is a lost cause.
A Twitter user on Thursday quizzed Olamide on why he refused to address Shatta Wale's outburst.
"Shatta Wale matter no concern you?", the Twitter user identified as Femi West asked.
Responding, Olamide said that hurt comes from not saying anything at all.
"Telling someone how you feel does not hurt as much as saying nothing at all," the 'Shakiti Bobo' singer wrote.
