Why PSG Superstar Neymar Could Miss UCL Final

Paris St-Germain (PSG) star, Neymar Jr. faces the prospect of missing his side's UEFA Champions League (UCL) final on Sunday after caught swapping shirts with Marcel Halstenberg of RB Leipzig.

AllNews understands that UEFA COVID-19 guidelines forbids players from swapping shirts in order to limit the risk of the virus spreading.

According to The Sun UK, the Brazilian could face a mandatory one-game ban after breaching UEFA rules regarding COVID-19 protocol, thus, he could be forced to watch the UCL final from isolation.

Neymar put in a heroic performance to help PSG reach the Champions League final for the first time in their history.

The 28-year-old had a match to remember on Tuesday night against RB Leipzig, despite squandering an early chance. 

He created numerous chances for his team-mates, and set up Angel Di Maria’s goal to make it 1-0. 

He had a chance to kill off the game when the score was already 3-0, but fell while controlling a pass from Kylian Mbappe.
