Al Nassr superstar signing Cristiano Ronaldo will not be able to make his debut for the Saudi Arabian side on Thursday.
Ronaldo completed a €200 Million-Per-Year move to Saudi Arabia drawing a curtain on his career in Europe.
Ronaldo smashed the phone of a fan while playing for Manchester United against Everton in April 2022 which inflicted a ban on him.
The English FA had handed Ronaldo a two-match ban for this unprofessional act and he would be serving the ban despite not playing in the Premier League.
Aside from the suspension, Al Nassr would have to offload a foreign player before being able to register him and get a certificate of competence from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF).
So, the fans, Saudi Arabia and Ronaldo himself will have to wait before making his debut in the Middle East.
