Reno Omokri, a former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, has asked Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka to "accept responsibility for bringing the worst ruler in Nigeria’s history to power" and "apologise, and honourably bow out and live out the rest of his years preserving his legacy".
AllNews had reported how Soyinka said he was of the belief that no one runs the seat of power in the country, the Aso Rock, and he says that his stance is based on years of "studying the trend over the past year and a half."
Omokri, the self-styled 'Buhari Tormentor' was still not impressed with the erudite scholar and sent a message to him via his verified Twitter handle on Friday.
Wole Soyinka should not complain about General @MBuhari. He should accept responsibility for bringing the worst ruler in Nigeria’s history to power. He should thereafter apologise, and honourably bow out and live out the rest of his years preserving his legacy #BuhariTormentor

Muhammadu Buhari was elected as leader of Africa's most populous black nation in 2015 under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is in his second term in office, and his final tenure ends in 2023.
Despite expressing support for Buhari during the 2015 election and also in the fight against corruption, Soyinka, 85, has been critical of the present administration, particularly their perceived inefficiency in handling violent activities of herdsmen in the country and the treatment of Omoyele Sowore, Convener of #RevolutionNow protest.
