The management of Wikki Tourists has urged the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Nigerian top flight league to beef up security in match venues.
Adamu Idris, the secretary of the Bauchi-based club, made this known during a chat with DAILY POST on Tuesday.
Pali revealed that the league has improved but lags in terms of security.
"Though the league has improved, the IMC needs to work more on the security aspect,” he stated.
He bemoaned how his players were harassed by opposition fans in Aba and Akure this term.
“We were harrassed in Aba and Akure but nothing was done despite our complaint to the league body, so we need to get this right ahead of the second stanza,” he added.
Wikki Tourists are in eighth position in Group B with eight points from nine matches.
