Wizkid Apologizes To Ghanaians For Failing To Perform At A Concert

Afrobeat musician Wizkid has taken to Twitter to apologize to Ghanaians for performing at a show in Ghana.

Ghanaian concertgoers who paid for tickets to Wizkid's concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 10, 2022, but were turned away have received an apology from the Nigerian Afrobeats singer.

Wizkid was scheduled to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday night in an event titled "Wizkid Live In Ghana," but he did not appear.

Even at 3:00 a.m., the fans waited for Wizkid to surprise them, but the event finished without him.

Fans have since taken to social media to express their outrage at how he treated them.

After several hours of angry tweets streaming in from fans who were there at the event site to catch Wizkid live in performance, the singer has now apologized with a tweet on his social media to fans who are dissatisfied with his failure to show up for his event.

The organizers of the Wizkid Live performance have also now apologized and slammed the performer for breaching the agreement.
