Wole Soyinka Has Reduced Himself For Criminal Politicians — Charly Boy

The criticisms aimed at Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka do not seem to be slowing down anytime soon as Charly Boy has added his to those of other Labour Party supporters.

Soyinka became the subject of controversy owing to his rebuke of LP's vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed over the latter's stance on the President-elect, Bola Tinubu not being sworn in.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle on Saturday, Charly Boy, who is an ardent supporter of Peter Obi, disclosed that he held Soyinka in high esteem before his recent statements.

The King of Boys 2 actor stated that Soyinka can never be the man that late writer Chinua Achebe was and added that the latter has reduced himself to an errand boy for criminal politicians.

"The kin respect I had for dis man, was almost the kind of respect I had for my stainless father, The Socrates of the Supreme Court.

"It has finally dawned on me that Soyinka can never be the man Chinua Achebe was.

"Look at a man many Nigerians put on such high pedestal reducing himself to a boyiboyi for criminal politicians.

"What a f..king big shame", the post reads.
