Woman Stabs Daughter Of Osun Community Leader

There was tension at Onward community, Fadidulai Area in Osogbo on Monday, when a woman, identified as “Iya ibeji”, an errand woman, stabbed 12-year-old Zainab, the daughter of One Mr Giwa, a community leader.

It was gathered that the incident happened in the sitting room of the community leader.

Neighbours who disclosed that Giwa and his family members were fond of sending Iya ibeji errands to the market also revealed that due to her diligence, the family had so much trust in Iya Ibeji.

According to the source, who preferred anonymity “Zainab, the victim just came from school when Iya ibeji entered her parent's house with intention of stealing money because the community leader's wardrobe was observed to be scattered after the incident.”

The victim, Zainab also narrated that, “Iya Ibeji entered the sitting room and as she sighted me, she hit me with a gas cylinder and some another sharp object from which I was injured.”

Zainab is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed medical facility within Osogbo.
