The Continental giant rabbit holds the Guinness world record for being the biggest at four feet, three inches long (129 centimeters). It went missing from its owner's home on Saturday night, April 10.
Darius' owner, Annette Edwards, revealed that she found out the animal was missing on Sunday morning, April 11. She alerted the police and an urgent appeal was issued for the return of the prize-winning bunny.

Edwards is offering £1,000 for its return as she took to her Twitter account to plead to whoever took the creature to "please bring him back", writing: "A very sad day. Guinness world record holder Darius has been stolen from his home.

"The police are doing their best to find out who has taken him. There is a reward of £1,000. Darius is too old to breed now. So please bring him back."

The West Mercia Police in western England said in a statement, "It is believed the Continental giant rabbit was stolen from its enclosure in the garden of its owners overnight on Saturday (10 April - 11 April).
"The rabbit in the fact that it is 4 ft in size and has been awarded a Guinness record for being the biggest rabbit in the world."
Darius has held the record of the world's biggest rabbit for more than 11 years after the Guinness Book of World Records bestowed on it the title on April 6, 2010.
