WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Highlights

The 2021 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view had several highlights and it saw a major title change hands.

The Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre had their titles put on the line, with one of them eventually losing it as a new winner was crowned.

Below are some of the main matches which took place and their results:

Elimination Chamber Match (Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn Vs. King Corbin Vs. Jey Uso Vs. Daniel Bryan Vs. Cesaro): All six superstars fought in the chamber for the opportunity to face the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After a hard-fought battle, it was down to two men; Jay Uso and Daniel Bryan. The latter countered Uso's splash by raising his knees, following it with his signature running knee to score the victory.

Universal Championship Match (Daniel Bryan Vs. Roman Reigns): Having emerged the sole survivor of the Elimination Chamber match, Bryan went toe to toe with the Big Dog, Roman Reigns with Reigns proving that the yard is still his, locking Brayn with a guillotine choke to bring the contest to an end. Even though his victory was smeared by the appearance of the Rated-R superstar Edge (who unleashed a spear on him), Reigns' success proves he is still on top of his game.

United States Championship (Bobby Lashley Vs. Riddle Vs. John Morrison: This match saw Lashley dominate in the early goings but he was taken out by Morrison and Riddle. The two men fought on before Lashley returned. After some time, Riddle took hold of MVP's crutch and used it on both men, securing his ensuring his victory.

Women's Tag Team Championship (Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler Vs. Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks): The formidable collaboration between Jax and Baszler proved to be more than the impressive duo of Belair and Banks could handle. The super heavyweight Jax hit Banks with a Samoan Drop for the win.

WWE Championship (Drew McIntyre Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Kofi Kingston Vs. Sheamus Vs. Jeff Hardy Vs. Randy Orton): Hardy and Orton started the match and fans were reminded of their past rivalry. Later when the competitors became five, Sheamus eliminated Kingston, and then McIntyre did the same to Hardy. Styles then got rid of Sheamus, leaving McIntyre and Styles left in the fight. In the end, it was the WWE Champion who stood tall after knocking Styles in midair.

WWE Championship (Drew McIntyre Vs. The Miz): After McIntyre's victory over Styles, Bobby Lashley attacked the celebrating champ before the Miz ran to the ring and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. Having stopped Lashley's beating of McIntyre with an assault to Lashley's leg and a DDT for a two-count, The Miz drove the champ to the canvas with a skull-crusher and secured the win, becoming the new WWE Champion.
