WWE Fastlane 2021: What You Should Know

WWE Fastlane 2021: What You Should Know

WWE Fastlane 2021 will be broadcast today, Sunday, and it will take place at the WWE Thunderdome as the last pay-per-view that will be shown via WWE's streaming service in the United States.

Daniel Bryan will challenge the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns for the title in the main event in what looks to be a thrilling encounter between two determined superstars.

Having been stripped of his title by The Miz (who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the last pay-per-view event), Drew McIntyre will compete with Sheamus in a No Holds Barred match.

The rivalry between McIntyre and Sheamus has progressed these past few weeks, and the last time they clashed in the ring, there was no apparent winner. So, their second match should remedy that.

The Viper, Randy Orton, also has a match with Alexa Bliss (who has changed into somewhat of a possessed person) in what may lead to the return of Bray Wyatt. Fans will be keen to see how it all plays out given Bliss' continued torment of Orton.

Shane McMahon was scheduled to battle the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman but it will no longer take place as it has been pulled from the WWE website.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins will wrestle in a singles match; definitely, one fans wouldn't want to miss given the tenacity of both men.

WWE Fastlane 2021 will be the first event to stream via Peacock's WWE Network channel in the U.S., as beginning April 5, 2021, subscribers will only be able to access the WWE Network through Peacock.

The main show begins at 7 pm ET and will stream live on WWE Network and Peacock.
