WWE Money In The Bank 2021: How John Cena Returned In Style

John Cena's return to the WWE sparked the kind of uproar and excitement rarely seen among wrestling fans, with several possible ways his journey back to the ring could go.

As Universal Champion Roman Reigns drank in the moment after standing tall following his controversial victory over Edge, Cena's music played to the utmost surprise of the Samoan and the Hollywood star made his remarkable entrance into the arena.

Reigns had to wipe his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming as the returning superstar bounced majestically to the deafening cheer of the WWE Universe.

"It's been too long!" were the words heard from the mouth of the F9: The Fast Saga star who made no effort to hide his joy of being back to the sport that brought him fame.

Grabbing the microphone, Cena said it was "weird" to see the excited fans because he was used to hearing them telling him how much he sucked.

"Tonight, I just wanted to come out here and let Roman Reigns know that I was back and I certainly wanted to come out here to let all of you that I'm back", he said.

"And I promise you, this is not a one night only but what' special to me is that this is the first night. As always, I wanna thank all the WWE superstars for putting their lives and their bodies on the line to entertain all of you.

"But most importantly, I missed you guys. I really, really missed you guys. So as much as I'm thankful and grateful for them, Man, I love you guys and I really, really missed you. And thank you so much for being here tonight and making this special to me and special to everybody in here!

"Thank you so much! I had one hell of a night!!"
