WWE has released yet another prominent superstar, Bray Wyatt from his contract.
The announcement was made on Saturday by WWE and it was revealed that Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) was no longer with the company.
"WWE has come to terms on the release of Bray Wyatt,” WWE wrote on its official website. "We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.”
Bray Wyatt as The Fiend
The dreadlocked superstar hadn't been seen on the Raw brand since his appearance at Wrestlemania 37 in April. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, budget cuts are the reasons why WWE made the decision to release him.
Braun Strowman was released earlier by the company in June and many will be hoping that with John Cena's recent return, things in the WWE Universe will experience a turnaround.
Wyatt in action
Bray Wyatt is a third-generation professional wrestler who debuted in the WWE as the villainous leader of The Wyatt Family in 2013.
His younger brother Taylor Rotunda (better known as Bo Dallas) is also a professional wrestler working in the WWE.
