Yahaya, Buni Attend Wedding Fatiha Of Gombe Airport's Sole Admin

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and his Yobe State counterpart, Mai Mala Buni, attended the wedding Fatiha of Gombe Airport's sole administrator, Muhammad Kabir Abubakar.

Abubakar got married to Ummul Qura Usman El'nafaty, daughter of the Vice Chancellor of the Gombe State University, Professor Usman Aliyu Elnafaty.

The wedding Fatiha which took place at the Miyetti Juma'at Mosque Gombe was presided over by the Chief Imam, Sheikh Muhammad Adam Albany. 

Governor Buni stood in as Wakil (representative) for the groom and received the hands of the bride on his behalf through her Waliy, Alhaji Jamaludeen Arabi. 

The dowry paid by the groom was N250,000 upon satisfying all other requirements in line with Islamic injunctions.

The solemnization of the marriage witnessed the presence of high-profile dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Gombe, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, Head of Service, Alhaji Bappayo Yahaya, Commissioners and Special Advisers to Governor Yahaya. 

Others were the Emir of Nafada, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammadu Dadum Hamza, former Director-General of the Pension Commission of Nigeria, Malam Muhammad Kabir Ahmad, Chairman of Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue among other functionaries from within and outside Gombe State.
