Yahoo Yahoo, Ritual Killing Step Aside! Bawa Tells Youths How To Make Easy Cash

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has revealed how youths can make easy money with EFCC reporting app, Eagle Eye. This is coming at a time when the spate of ritual killings and fraudulent activities amongst youths in Nigeria appears to be on the rise as many young ones pursue easy money.

During a parley on Wednesday with a group of media and non-media professionals identified as 'Mofeto Shurch' in Abuja Bawa revealed that Nigerian youths have an opportunity to get paid for exposing economic and financial crimes that lead to financial recovery.

In a statement posted on the commission’s Facebook page, titled, ‘EFCC Boss Meets Leaders of Mofeto Shurch, Tasks Nigerians on Whistleblowing’, Bawa said the policy is still in force.

Bawa encouraged whistleblowers to make use of the EFCC reporting app, Eagle Eye, which could be downloaded from Google Play Store or iOS App Store, to report economic and financial crimes cases.

Led by author and human rights activist, Richard Akinola, the group said they have followed closely the performance of the Bawa-led EFCC and have come to the realization that concerted efforts are needed in the corruption fight.

They promised to partner with the commission in the fight against economic and financial crimes.

Other members of Mofeto Shurch present at the parley include Lara Owoeye-Wise, Gbenga Aruleba, Yomi Odunuga and Kemas Osuji.

The whistleblowing policy of the Federal Government was launched during the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as part of its efforts to fight corruption.
