Rigwe community attacked by militias
A continuation of killings and destruction of properties has become a norm in Rigwe land, with militia attacking consecutively for the 5th time in less than a month.
On Monday, Ariri village of Miango District was attacked aftershock the village was left in shambles.
Report by indigenes in the community disclosed that about three(3) persons lost their lives, Habila Gado, aged 42, Ritivo Ichemi , aged 74 and Dazhu Dewi, aged 64, were killed in the attack with one Jummai Musa sustaining a gunshot wound.
Eye witness report noted that about twenty five (25) households and forty (40) food barns were burnt down.
Also the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Ariri community was completely gutted down by fire.
It was confirmed by the villagers that the attack lasted a while before the arrival of security personnel.
