Federal University Gashua in Yobe State resumed academic activities on Tuesday and also announced the approval of 140 as the cut-off mark for the 2022/2023 academic session at the institution.
This was made known in a statement by the institution's Spokesman, Adamu Saleh in Gashua on Wednesday.
Saleh said the decision to make the cut-off mark for all courses 140 was made by the Senate at its 42nd meeting on Monday.
According to him, the Senate also approved November 14 for fresh students to commence registration and December for retuning students' registration.
He noted that Direct Entry candidates must choose the university as their first choice, adding that late registration would attract a fine.
Saleh further said online screening for prospective candidates which started on Tuesday would run till December 1.
He urged candidates to visit the university's website: http//fugashua.edu.ng to register for the screening.
