Yobe Inaugurates Swearing-In Committee For Buni's Second Term

The Yobe State Government has inaugurated its swearing-in committee for Governor Mai Mala Buni's second term alongside his Deputy, Idi Barde Gubana. 

The committee was inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Baba Malam Wali, on Tuesday.

Wali said the committee members were carefully selected for the job.

He explained they were selected based on their competence and diligence. 

He expressed optimism that the committee members would deliver on the mandate reposed on them. 

The SSG said the committee would successfully pave way for the Governor and his Deputy to re-embark on the job they had started in the first tenure.

He said the committee, comprising of 35 members would organise a befitting ceremony for the transition into the second term. 

The Committee will among other things, arrange and provide all necessary logistics for the smooth conduct of the programme as well as appointing relevant sub-committees.
