Sunday Igboho Arrested In Cotonou

Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

AllNews Nigeria gathered that Igboho was nabbed by Benin Republic security forces at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night.

Recall that the freedom fighter was recently declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged activities threatening the corporate existence of Nigeria.

His house at Sooka in Ibadan was raided by DSS which led to the arrest of 13 of Igboho’s associates.

Two of Igboho’s supporters, later identified as Adogan and Alfa, were also killed during the raid.

Sunday Igboho was reportedly trying to fly out through the West African neighboring country before he was intercepted. He intended to travel to Germany.
