Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage is mourning the death of her dad.
The award-winning artist, writing via her Instagram page late Monday, disclosed that he passed away in the early hours of that day, adding that he fought until the very end.
Tiwa Savage revealed that the past couple of years have been rough but took solace in the fact that her father was now resting. She added that his transition was tough on her and that she was numb and weak.

Posting an image of her and her late father, she wrote: "Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy.
"It’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King.
"I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K."
