You Reap What You Sow — Yeni Kuti To Foluke Daramola-Salako

Yeni Kuti has responded to a video of actress Foluke Daramola-Salako calling out Nigerian youths on social media for insulting their elders.

Foluke stated in a video posted on Tuesday, March 28, that the "new habit of young people insulting older people on social media is a pandemic many people are ignoring."

She claimed that if nothing is done in the next five years, children will start beating up on their parents.

Yeni Kuti discussed the video on TVC this morning, recalling how she and Foluke worked on a job together many years ago and how Foluke treated her disrespectfully.

She claimed that while Foluke may have forgotten, she (Yeni) has not because she was on the receiving end.

She stated that now she is demanding respect from the youth.

"Foluke Daramola. I like her. She is everything. I talk to her but I remember when she insulted me because I just googled her now.

"She is forty-five, I am sixty-two. We did a job (together).

"This is like about thirty-something years ago. I only did what they asked me to do.

"I didn't take money for the job but the enmity I got from her was terrible.

"I am wondering if she remembers because I remember because it was done to me.

"Now she is demanding respect. You reap what you sow. Karma is a leveller'', she said.
