Youngest Reps Member Dumps SDP, Yet To Announce New Party

The Youngest member of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Adefisayo has revealed that he will be  dumping the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the party on which he was elected in 2019.

Adefisayo who made this known on Saturday said his decision to dump the party is as a result of the crisis rocking the party at the state and national level.

The 36 year old lawmaker who is a representative of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the House of Representatives  is yet to annouce the new political party he will be decamping to.

Further lamenting  that SDP has been depressing, Adefisayo said:

“Without denying the obvious, the future of the political party seems to be very shaky, just as its survival appears to depend hopelessly on the likelihood of impending barrage of intractable litigations,” he said.

However, Adefisayo did not announce the party that he will be decamping to.

But there are indications that he might be joining the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he openely supported Rotimi Akeredolu's re-election bid.
