A large number of youths in Jos, the Plateau state capital on Saturday staged a solidarity rally in support of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The youths took to the streets of Jos, carrying banners and chanting songs amid heavy traffic.
According to some youths among the marching crowd, there is no better qualified candidate in 2023 than Obi.
The march, tagged '2 Million March for Peter Obi,' was to show support for Obi, a former presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who defected to the LP.
The supporters, who popularly refer to themselves as Obi-dient and Yusuful people words coined from the names of the Labour Party's presidential and vice-presidential candidates, filled the streets of Jos in their numbers.
