Zack Snyder has explained why Batman and Joker share a scene in the upcoming film Zack Snyder's Justice League.

A few days ago, the official trailer for the upcoming movie was released and one of its most memorable moments was when the Caped Crusader was seen with his bitter foe.

In the clip, Joker is heard saying the following words to his rival, "We live in a society where honour is a distant memory. Isn't that right, Batman?"

Per a report from Screenrant, director Zack Snyder stated that featuring Joker actor Jared Leto in his version of Justice League was his way of giving fans a taste of the conflict between the character and Batman as he envisioned it.

"It was important to me that Batman and Joker have a scene together. Let's be honest Batman/Joker are kind of the- that conflict is central to the universe."
