Zamfara First Lady Secures Political Appointments For 20 Miy

The First Lady of Zamfara State, Hajia Aisha Bello Muhammad Matawalle has secured the appointment of Special Assistants to Governor Bello Matawalle for 20 Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) members in the State.

The spokesperson to the First Lady, Zainab Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

The Zamfara State Chairman of MACBAN, Alhaji Tukur Abubakar, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, commended the efforts of the First Lady in making meaningful change to Fulanis and other members of the communities, the statement said.

The MACBAN Chairman also expressed great appreciation to Governor Bello Matawalle for his support to the Fulanis and for making them part of his administration.

He assured that MACBAN will continue to give its maximum support and cooperation towards the success of the administration of Matawalle and for the growth of the state.

During the presentation of the appointment letters to the beneficiaries in Gusau, the state capital on Tuesday, the First Lady congratulated the appointees and assured them of a sustainable working relationship with the Miyetti Allah group for the growth of peace and unity in the state.

Hajiya Matawalle said the beneficiaries consisted of men and women members of Miyetti Allah.

According to her, the gesture is aimed at supporting members of the group in appreciating them for promoting peaceful existence in the state.
