Zamfara Government Donates N2 Million To Bandit Attack Victi

Following the recent bandit attacks on Janbako and Sakkida communities in the Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the state government has donated N2 million to support the victims. 

The donation was to bring immediate relief to the victims before the government's assessment. 

Meanwhile, Nuhu Salihu Anka, spokesperson to the governor said, “The government has donated N2 million to the affected families and officials will soon begin the assessment of the level of damage and destruction and will come up with a good plan to ease the suffering of the people."

The state governor, Dauda Lawal, has also assured of supporting the families of those killed during the attacks. 

Lawal made this known when he visited the communities to condole and sympathise with them over the unfortunate incident.

The governor was represented by his Deputy, Malam Mani Malam Mumini. 

He assured the communities of the government's commitment to halt the spate of attacks in the state.

The governor further assured that more security operatives would be deployed to the communities to ensure their safety. 

He also explained that the government was working on ways to support people across the state who have been plagued over the years by the activities of bandits and cattle rustlers.
