Zamfara: PDP Denies Knowledge Of Attack On APC Members

The Zamfara Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has denied allegations by the All Progressive Congress (APC) that its supporters attacked some of their members.

The Secretary of the Publicity Committee, PDP Governorship Campaign Council, Ahmad Shatiman-Rijiya described the allegations as baseless.

He was reacting to the APC being bitter about some persons it suspected to be supporters of the PDP that won the just concluded guber polls vandalised their properties in Gusau on Friday.

Shatiman-Rijiya said PDP has been existing in the state since 1999 but never record violence.

“Our members have no hand in attacking, destruction or stealing of APC supporters or property.

“How do you expect, we the PDP that recorded victory to cause violence, I am telling you this is not true,” he added.
