Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy late Saturday sacked Ukraine's ambassador to Germany, as well as other foreign envoys.
The President's office announced that the sacking includes Ukraine's ambassadors to Germany, Hungary, India, Czech Republic, and Norway.
The Daily Sabah added that Ukraine's relations with Germany have been a tensed one as of late.
The two countries are at odds over a German-made turbine undergoing maintenance in Canada.
Germany wants Canada to return the turbine to Russian natural gas giant Gazprom to pump gas to Europe.
Ukraine has urged Canada to keep the turbine, saying that shipping it to Russia would be a violation of sanctions imposed on Russia.
