Zinoleesky and Naira Marley
Marlian Music act, Zinoleesky, has spoken about his relationship with his record label boss, Naira Marley.
In an interview on City 105.1, the ‘Kilofeshe’ singer said that he is quite close with Naira Marley and they have a family relationship going on.
“That’s my ‘jiggy’. That’s my ‘kilikili’. That’s my 5&6,” he said.
“It’s like a family thing. He treats me like a brother. He’s like my brother.”
Speaking for the first time about the saga involving Naira Marley, Mohbad and Marlian music, Zinoleesky said he never saw the need to say anything about the issue.
According to him, he saw no need to explain someone’s situation or defend someone on social media.
The singer clarified that this was just his personality; he cited an instance of if he was the one with the issues indicating that he would never bring his issues to social media.
The Mohbad and Naira Marley saga broke out in 2022 when Mohbad alleged that his life was being threatened on the order of Naira Marley by members of Marlian Music.
Naira Marley had alleged that all Mohbad had said had been under the influence; this was later debunked by Mohbad himself, who later issued a notice of contract termination to the head of Marlian music.
