Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has opened up about how fatherhood has changed his perspective on certain things, including his music videos.
Speaking on the Afrobeats podcast with Adesope Olajide, Zlatan disclosed that there are certain things he used to do in the past that he can no longer do now that he is a father.
He added that he can no longer make some of the videos he made when he didn’t have a child.
The singer went on to explain that he was once watching some of his old videos on YouTube when the realization hit him that his son would one day watch them and he would have to correct him if he did anything crazy.
“There are some things that I can do some years ago, now I can’t do. There are some videos I make when I didn’t have a child.
“I can literally go on the streets and start dancing to my song.
“After I gave birth to my son (Shiloh); one day, I was on YouTube and I was just thinking that my son will grow up to watch this.
“How will I be able to correct him when he is doing some crazy stuff?” Zlatan said.
