Brentford was founded in 1889 and played their home games at Griffin Park before moving to their present, Brentford Community Stadium in 2020.

The West London club has been shuffling between the EPL and the EFL division for years and they drifted so far from the top divisions in 1998 when they were relegated to the fourth tier.

Brentford's main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers.
