History of Etsako East
Etsako East Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria, situated in the South-south geopolitical zone. The headquarters of Etsako East LGA is in the town of Agenebode, which is also the largest town in the area. The local government area covers a total land area of 1,680 square kilometers. It has an estimated population of over 200,000 people, according to the 2006 national census.
