History of Jema'a

Jema'a local government area is located in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is situated in Kafanchan.
Jema'a Local Government Area covers an area of 1,384 km⊃2;.

According to the 2006 census, Jema'a had a population of 278,202 inhabitants. The estimated population as of now is approximately 271,882. The towns and villages that make up Jema'a LGA include Godogodo, Kagoma, Ubandoma, Alfana, Katak, Mamang, Jibin, and Dagoma. The predominant language spoken in Jema'a LGA is the Hausa language.
