The presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar landed in Edo State on Saturday for a campaign rally in the region.
The rally is in continuation of his national campaign ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
According to reports, the former vice president arrived in Edo State at about 11 am and was welcomed by Governor Godwin Obaseki and other PDP personalities.
The visit to the region comes hours after Atiku returned from a trip to France following an attack by hoodlums in Kaduna on a rally by members of the party.
