Nollywood veteran and politician Kenneth Okonkwo has identified with the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi's movement even though he is yet to join another party.
Okonkwo recently announced that he was dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following Bola Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket with his choice of Kashim Shettima as a running mate.
Speaking on Thursday in an interview with Arise TV, the famous actor stated that APC and PDP are being rattled by the impact of Obi's marketing.
According to Okonkwo, the ruling party originated the "internet sensation" thing before coming into power in 2015, hence they are being perturbed by the former Anambra State Governor's movement.
"I’m yet to join another political party, but I’m Obicentric. The power of marketing starts with gaining attention and Peter Obi’s team is doing that perfectly.
“APC were the originators of internet sensation so why are they crying if it’s not making any impact.
“Marketing is by getting attention and Obidients are doing it well, that’s why APC and PDP are rattled", the actor said.
