Actress Tonto Dikeh has used social media to reveal her support for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
The actress, who was nominated as Tonte Ibraye's running mate for the African Democratic Party's (ADC) governorship candidate in Rivers State in 2023, took to her verified Instagram page to explain her decision.
She stated that the coming election is one of the most important events in our country's history and will determine the future of the nation.
Tonto made it known that she is willing to give her unsolicited support to vote rightly for Obi in the upcoming presidential election slated for February 25, 2023.
"The upcoming presidential election is one of the most important events in our country's history.
"It will determine the future of our nation, and the person we choose to lead us will have a significant impact on our lives.
"Therefore, it is imperative that we carefully consider the qualifications of each candidate and choose someone who has the competence, experience, and an excellent track record.
"Therefore I hereby, willingly give my unsolicited support to vote rightly for Mr Peter Obi in the upcoming presidential election slated for 25th February 2023", she said.
