Outspoken critic Reno Omokri has tackled Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi for staying mum on the killings in the southeast.
Amid the sit-at-home order in the aforementioned region, a series of violent attacks on residents of the area have been reported, with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) denying any involvement.
Baring his thoughts on the issue on his Twitter page, Omokri alleged that many of those behind the killings are supporters of Obi.
According to him, 'Obidients' are behind the destruction of facilities belonging to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Omokri stated that the former Anambra governor is quick to condemn happenings in other regions but is silent on the violence in the southeast.
"All over the Southeast, gunmen are killing innocent Nigerians, many of whom are Obidients.
"They are destroying INEC facilities. But Obi, who is quick to condemn happenings in other regions, is quiet, as he goes from church to church, stalking worshippers for votes!", his post reads.
