A 60-year-old man slumped while waiting in a queue to withdraw money from a first-generation bank's Automated Teller Machine (ATM) gallery in Asaba, Delta State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at about 11.30 am along Nnebisi Road, Asaba.

However, the incident sparked fear among bank customers and residents in the area who in turn ran away from the queue over fears bordering on COVID-19 while others helped the man regain consciousness after which, they called his family.
After the man was revived, he alleged that he was sick and had just returned from the hospital.
He said, “I am not feeling too well. I am just coming back from the hospital and decided to stop over to use the ATM to withdraw some money.
“The queue is too long and I have been in it since morning and I’m diabetic. I live in Ibusa with my family. I came to Asaba for treatment.”
